Blissful start in Europe for Sono-Wrap

4 May 2007

Sonoco is supplying Aimia with a 103 x 99 x 155mm (400g) Sono-Wrap; the container is made of a single laminated structure that incorporates paperboard and a liner. The label is printed directly on the paperboard and the finished structure then die-cut and sealed together. For consumer convenience and product integrity the can features a tabbed peelable foil membrane heatsealed to the top of the pack. A plastic overcap allows resealing after opening.

Sonoco says it believes the container's “unique shape”, six-colour litho printing and “brilliant” varnish layer will catch consumers' attention on-shelf.
