Bericap's far-sighted closure advance

27 October 2007

The Galileo II has a polyethylene base, while the PP tamper-evident hinged overcap allows one-handed pouring. Users must break the overcap seal to remove the pull-up ring, which then breaks the second seal. The transparent overcap allows consumers to see the integrity of the membrane.

Edible oil variant features include a membrane ring oriented so the user’s finger is always in the right position to pull up the safety seal, a curved lip for “cleaner” pouring, and flow regulators to control oil flow.

The vinegar closure’s pull-up ring reveals four small holes, enabling the user to precisely determine the amount of vinegar dispensed. The closure’s other features are identical to those on the edible oil version.
