Blackburn-based BCP Fluted Packaging says it has consolidated its position as one of the UK's leading confectionery packaging manufacturers with the formation of a strategic relationship with German counterpart ABS Packmittel.
The tie-up, which will see orders handled by BCP's Blackburn sales office and production split between the two companies' plants, has been negotiated
as a result of BCP's acquisition of the former Paterson's Packaging business in Glasgow, also a big cushion pad producer.
"Together we can better service European cushion pad demand," explains BCP Paterson's key account manager Patrick Ford.
