The technology tailors the gas permeability of the flexible film to extend the life of fresh produce by naturally creating a modified atmosphere; in this case giving an extra two days' shelf-life compared with standard non-MAP bags. The special wicketted bags are produced from a recyclable material and an anti-mist system is used to maximise product visibility. The bags are Amcor P-Plus treated and flexo printed at Amcor Flexibles Ledbury in the UK.
