Bags to beat butter fingers

Birmingham based Euro-packaging has introduced the Tab Bag system to end the fiddly problems associated with opening plastics carrier bags in the supermarket.

Instead of having to hunt for the bag front and grapple to prise it apart, the new bag features a built-in visible tab that is easy to grab. When pulled, the consumer takes one bag at a time, which self-opens ready for filling.

The tab, being part of the bag, is said to add little cost to the company's Pinch Pull system.

It can also be added to most conventional bag designs and will suit most dispenser systems.

Tab Bag is aimed at all retailers and can be displayed at the checkout with a simple dispenser hook or with sophisticated dispensers designed by Europackaging.
