Axilone has supplied the collar, cap and decorative effects for the 10th anniversary limited edition release of Givenchy’s Very Irrésistible fragrance.
Launched for the first time in 2003, Givenchy regularly launches special versions of its flagship fragrance Very Irrésistible that play on various aspects of the packaging’s colour and finish.
For its 10th anniversary the famously twisted bottle, which resembles a long ‘couture’ gown, is adorned with a cascade of ten roses, to highlight the fragrance’s floral notes.
At its production sites in Brittany, Axilone created and manufactured the smooth, transparent cap in Dupont Surlyn, as well as the metallised collar in shiny silver-coloured polypropylene.
The company, a subsidiary of Ileos Group’s Beauty division, also created the injection moulds for the parts, and created the injected rose decorations.
In order to reduce the number of steps on the assembly line to a single operation, the Very Irrésistible collar and cap are delivered assembled, in all formats of 15ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.
