Boxes Prestige was one of two British companies claiming a prize at the Pro Carton/European Carton Manufacturers’ Association annual awards, winning the ‘All Other Food’ category for its packaging for Marks & Spencer Speciality Teas. The product comprises six small 450mic Incada Excel red and black boxes with gold embossing, held within a 450mic Colorplan black frame. Judges commented that the product "would provide instant shelf appeal" and the "matt finish and bold colour combination will attract shoppers and demonstrates sophistication." The matt finish was achieved by printing on the reverse side of the board so the individual cartons feature a high white inside surface when opened.
Boxes Prestige beat 18 entries from across Europe in the category. The chairman of Pro Carton UK, Robert Davison, who presented the award, said: "The high quality level of all the entries amazed the judges and many of the cartons showed clearly what can be achieved using cartonboard."
