West Yorkshire based Sontex has launched the Autosac range of bag making machinery. The units can make bags from 200mm to over 50m in length from a film web of up to 2m wide.
Running at up to 30m/ min, they are said to be ideal for producing pallet bags and top covers, sacks, mattress and furniture bags. A variety of sealing jaws are available to produce individual bags or perforated tear bags on a roll from layflat tubing or centre folded polythene.
Key features of the machines are a PLC that can store up to 100 length and quantity combinations in its memory, along with an automatic overrun compensator for accurate bag length.
The advanced electronic impulse seal cycle controller gives consistent sealing.
