Atlas corrugated trolley at Pro2Pac

14 March 2013

Atlas Packaging has created a shopping trolley constructed entirely from corrugated board, as a feature on its stand at the Pro2Pac show at the London ExCel, 17-20 March 2013.

The Devon-based company has designed its 10.5sqm stand at this year’s Pro2Pac show in the style of a supermarket, complete with shelves of boxed goods.

“Visitors to the stand will be able to experience the depth and breadth of Atlas’s capabilities when it comes to creative fmcg packaging solutions for grocery retail,” the company says.

This year Atlas Packaging has invested more than £2 million in the installation of the “UK’s first” Emba 245QS Ultima machine, described as a “non-crush-converting, in-line machine capable of constructing corrugated boxes to an unprecedented standard”.

The new machine is said also to boast a 4 colour + IR dryer with enhanced print, which “surpasses all current standards of post print flexo”.
