Applicator can apply "no-label-look" labels

14 April 2007

The 400 Slim Line was created to meet the need for the increasingly popular “no-label look” labels, high-quality metallic effects and “non-standard functions”, the company says.

A spokesman says: “Even in areas where wet glue labels are still used for historical reasons, such as in bottling plants, self-adhesive versions are increasingly favoured.”

The Slim Line can reach speeds of 120m/min, depending on take-up type and unwinding method, equating to a throughput of around 60,000 labels/hour. Its fully integrated control unit eliminates the need for a separate control cabinet.
