AEW Delford’s MPL80 C and Top label applicator offers full printing capabilities for a wide range of packaging applications, ‘at a competitive price’.
The MPL80 can operate at up to 80 packs/min and handle all popular tray sizes. It features non-contact, height adjustable label application and a high capacity label reel that allows long production runs without downtime.
Enhanced software is said to ease machine programming and the 1,000-plus label comformat memory minimises label change-over.
Available with a choice of chemi-thermal or thermal transfer print options - both with 12 dot/mm high resolution printing - the MPL80 is claimed to offer excellent print and layout performance with complete layout flexibility. It can accommodate a wide variety of label shapes and sizes, and has a ‘huge range’ of font styles and barcodes, and extensive independent label fields.
The system can operate as a stand-alone label applicator or integrated into an AEW Delford weigh price labelling system to accommodate trays up to 340mm wide.
