Novamelt is launching Novarad RC 24370, a newly developed UV-curable acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive for wet wipe closure labels in response to market demands to replace solvent born adhesives by environmentally friendly technologies. Novarad RC 24370 is said to combine “a soft, quite opening with an excellent resistance to chemicals used in wet wipes”. In contrary to solvent born adhesives the new technology is claimed to be easy to handle and opens further possibilities for vertical integration of label printers.
