30 April 2010

A perfect mix by ForMetal detection systems company Fortress Technology recently installed a fourth Phantom metal detector at Griffith Laboratories plant in Derbyshire, UK, where it is inspecting 15kg bags of breadcrumbs for contaminants.

Griffith Laboratories – manufacturer of food ingredient products - purchased its first Fortress system four years ago.

Impressed with its user-friendliness, Neil Turner, engineering manager at Griffith Labs, said: “We can easily replace parts and change the control boards ourselves without needing to call out a service engineer. “

Fortress Phantom metal detectors use the latest Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology to ensure complete product integrity.
