A big character arrives in the inkjet world

9 January 2003

Large character inkjet printing needs can now be met with the Marsh Encore from Videojet.

With a Windows CE operating system, messages on the Marsh Encore can be created off-line and downloaded to one or multiple controllers. A central database with 25MB of memory can be used to store codes and graphics, reducing code input errors and set-up time. A colour LCD display is included.

Marsh Encore prints alphanumerics, graphics and barcodes at 300x150dpi, generating images with a 'pre-printed' look, says Videojet. With a maximum character height of 51mm, up to 32 lines of print from a single printhead, and conveyor line speeds of 61m/min for alphanumerics, the printer should match most application requirements.
