In partnership with Macsa, of Spain, Allen Coding Systems has introduced a ‘cost effective’ Icon laser coder to the UK market.
The Icon system is said to be ideal first introduction to laser technology, easy to use, fast and competitively priced with ink et printers. Designed for small character coding, it features an integrated colour touchscreen and intuitive interface with context-sensitive menus for ease of navigation.
A compact design means it can be installed in locations where space is limited and, as no inks are required, the laser coder offers increased environmental benefits. No unwanted ink deposits and no solvent emissions results in a cleaner production area and helps minimise overall carbon footprint.
The new system is said to deliver high quality printing for applications in the beverage, cosmetics, industrial and electronics industries, and is suitable for labels, cartons, plastics, glass, wood and textiles.
