Yorkshire Packaging Systems Ltd, the leading supplier of shrink wrapping equipment in the UK, currently celebrating their 35th year of trading, recently supplied five fully automatic side feed sleeve wrappers to the Dewsbury based Mount Packaging Systems Limited, turn key suppliers of complete filling lines into the world wide paint industry.
The order was part of a £1.5m project to supply a number of complete filling lines to a major paint manufacturer in Norway.
Each line supplied was specific to each filling line. Specialist turners were fitted to ensure the orientation of each tin was consistent and pneumatic safety motors were fitted as standard across all five lines to ensure the shrink tunnel was always evacuated in the event of a power cut.
Centrally mounted pushers were utilised to cope with the heavy weight of some of the tins and the infeed belts were upgraded to a very heavy duty design.
