Weedon PSC Helps Local Brewery Increase Brand Presence with New Carry Pack Design

Weedon PSC recently worked with local Staffordshire company, Freedom Brewery, in assisting them with a new carry pack design for the launch of their new hand crafted English lagers. Freedom Brewery and the design team at Weedon PSC worked closely to ensure that the new carry packs were both functional and reflected the image of the Freedom Brewery Brand.

Susan Mayman, Managing Director of Freedom Brewery had a clear vision of what she was looking to achieve: “We wanted the packaging to reflect the new up-to-date image of our products. Weedon PSC clearly understood our brief and understood that our packaging needed to reflect the contemporary feel, clean lines and a fresh, vibrant, modern image that Freedom Brewery represents; this brief has been expertly transitioned through with the packaging. We are really pleased with the results.”

The design team at Weedon PSC was keen to move away from traditional style lager and beer carry packs. Many of the style lager packs on the market look old-fashioned and dated.

The Freedom Brewery packs needed to serve two purposes; be able to showcase 6 Freedom lager bottles (Organic, Pilsner & Organic Dark Lager) and be sturdy enough to prevent damage in transit to retailers and the on trade outlets, without looking bulky on shelf and display and wasteful on the card weight.
