Herefordshire crisp producer, Two Farmers has added to its award-winning range of hand-cooked crisps with the introduction of Herefordshire Sausage & Mustard. The latest "local" flavour will launch in August in both 40g and 150g formats.
True to their roots, the farming duo Mark Green and Sean Mason have spent time perfecting their new flavour working closely with the well-known rare and wild meats producer, Tudges. The Tudge family has been rearing Berkshire pigs for over 20 years and is well known across Herefordshire and its neighbouring counties. Like their other producer partnership, low food miles, quality and sustainability were all part of their consideration.
Founder of Two Farmers, Sean Mason commented "This new addition will really compliment our current range and we hope meets our retailers' and consumers' requests for new discovery flavours. The Tudge family has an excellent reputation and we felt that a Herefordshire Sausage and Mustard would be a winning flavour, launching just in time for summer snacking and picnic season!"
The Tudge partnership fits well with the Two Farmers philosophy of being kind to the planet and managing the countryside in a sustainable way. Two Farmers is the UK's first sustainable crisp brand, pioneering the UK's first plastic-free and compostable crisp packet ahead of its FMCG counterparts.
