St Peter's Brewery Continues To Lead Alcohol-Free Revolution with Launch of Without Gold

Suffolk-based micro-brewery, St Peter's, has unveiled Without Gold, a hoppy, golden ale that's full of flavour and completely alcohol free.

Following on from the huge success of St Peter's Without Original, which is now the world's No.1 alcohol-free craft beer, Without Gold is a delicious new golden alcohol-free craft beer, with a full-bodied, slightly sweet malt flavour combined with a citrus bitterness.

The perfect follow up to the best-selling St Peter's Without Original, Without Gold targets ale drinkers who like a refreshing, light, golden beer.

“In Without Gold we have created a beer that will appeal to a nation of ale drinkers who love a good, full-bodied golden ale, as well as lager drinkers looking for a delicious alcohol-free beer,” explains Steve Magnall, CEO at St Peter's Brewery. “Without Original is different to anything else on the market. Aside from being the only zero-alcohol craft beer on the market, it's also got more flavour and body than any other alcohol-free beer available. We expect Without Gold to be just as popular,” adds Steve.

Created by head brewer, Steve Groves, it has taken almost a year to perfect the recipe for Without Gold. However, the micro-brewer is certain the new zero-alcohol golden ale is the real deal. “We can't wait to launch this product and get customer reaction. We expect Without Gold to appeal to a broad range of ale and lager drinkers and already a major retail chain is interested in stocking it,” adds Steve. “Without Gold is completely different from other alcohol-free beers on the market, most of which are conventional lagers and often thin and watery. Instead, it is made in exactly the same way as a traditional beer, just without the alcohol, and consumers can expect a full-bodied pint, with a good head and delicious taste.”

With sales of alcohol-free drinks on the rise, Without Gold gives consumers more choice in this growing category. “We expect the alcohol-free drinks market to grow to 10% of the overall drinks category within the next ten years,” explains Steve. “At St Peter's, we want to be leading the way for high quality, great-tasting zero-alcohol craft beers and with two terrific products in our portfolio, we are well on the way to doing just that.”
