UPM Conveyors, perched on stand A34 at the PPMA Show, report the best exhibition in their 45 year history of manufacturing automation solutions for product handling. They started taking orders within the first two hours of the show opening, which Roy Fowler (sales director) says was because of live demonstrations that were based on unattended lights-out production, including product cooling / counting, automatic box filling, plus metal detection and static removal leading to increased efficiency and profit.
UPM have been informed that a system project order will be placed by a major blue chip multinational on their stand, with a value of around £500,000 - so expect the champagne to be flowing!
