PACCOR signs the new plastics economy global comitment to eradicate plastic waste and pollution

31 October 2018

PACCOR is excited to announce it is part of 250 organisations to have signed The New Plastics Economy Global Commitment. The commitment requires that 100% of plastic packaging can easily and safely be reused, recycled, or composted by 2025, and is a significant step forward for PACCOR’s sustainability and transparency culture. Signatories include an impressive range of the world’s largest packaging producers, brands, retailers and recyclers, as well as governments and NGOs.

Focus will be placed on optimising design and material use, increasing the amount of recyclable and recycled materials made into new products, and continuous process improvement, with new delivery methods being a priority. All aims will be carried out with respect for the health, safety and rights of all people involved.
