MASONS GIN ROLLS OUT NEW BOTTLE DESIGN FEATURING YORKSHIRE’S WHITE ROSE

Award winning Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin has launched a new bottle design at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show, uniquely featuring a white rose design in the base of the bottle, in honour of the brand’s Yorkshire roots.

Originally the symbol of the House of York, the emblem has since become synonymous with the county of Yorkshire. The new bottle also includes a depiction of the Yorkshire rose above the front label on all varieties in the Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin range, as well as a slimmer, sleeker shape.

Karl Mason, co-founder of Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin, commented: “There is no denying we’re proud of our Yorkshire roots and we’re excited to unveil our new bottle design this week reflecting our Yorkshire identity.  We’ve been looking forward to launching the bottle at The Great Yorkshire Show - the bottle itself made by Allied Glass in Wakefield. Indeed, from design through to production, we were keen to use local suppliers.”

Recently celebrating the company’s 4th anniversary, husband and wife team, Karl and Cathy Mason, launched Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin on World Gin Day in 2013. The team, based at Bedale, have seen their gin win a raft of awards in the past 6 months, including Gold awards at The San Francisco World Spirits Competition and The People’s Drinks Awards, as well as being recently shortlisted for The White Rose Awards.

Distilled using the traditional London Dry Gin method in a copper alembic still, Masons Yorkshire Gin is a small batch craft gin which has not only been recognised locally but also nationally and internationally with a raft of prestigious awards.

Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin is available online and at a growing list of stockists throughout the UK, ranging from small independent stores to high-end retailers such as Harvey Nichols.
