Glass packaging and homeware workshop

Independent experts in glass, Glass Technology Services, are holding the first of a series of packaging and homeware workshops on 11 March 2020. This free one-day workshop will give delegates a sound introduction to glass as a material, how it is made and an understanding of performance properties.

Focusing on key topics for kitchenware, homeware, cosmetics and food and drinks packaging lines, the workshop is ideal for those working in roles from design to quality assurance. This day will give you the tools and knowledge to work with glass more e?ectively.

The agenda includes the basic chemistry of glass and its manufacturing processes, environmental and sustainability considerations, glass performance, defects and product speci?cations, as well as appropriate due diligence and chemical compliance testing.

Sessions will also feature new technologies and developments in glass research and development.
