FOLKLORE DISTILLERY UNVEIL A TRULY YORKSHIRE MADE GIN, FROM OUTSIDE-IN

The beauty of glass inspires Allied to create the most innovative and creative glass packaging the latest example being the exquisite Folklore Society Gin bottle.

They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but if you were to judge Folklore Society Gin on its carefully crafted 6 colour print which surrounds the expertly made glass bottle, you would be right to expect the same story of high quality Yorkshire craftsmanship inside the bottle too.

Folklore Distilling is a collaboration of creativity, distinctive design and high- quality spirits, all with a local twist. The unique premise of Folklore is their commitment to regularly release limited edition spirits to reflect the changing Yorkshire seasons and to tell a rich, new story which can be savoured by all the senses. This month's first release, Folklore Society Gin, is a small batch gin with standout tasting notes to reflect the season. "Plums and figs were foraged from the hills of Yorkshire to add to the gin's dynamic autumnal palate of taste," explains the creator, Sara Birkinshaw, of Leeds Gin.

To reflect the seasonal Yorkshire crops used within each limited edition, there will also be uniquely designed artwork by Leeds-based Analogue Creative to tell a tale on each bottle, made by luxury Yorkshire glass makers Allied Glass and printed at its dedicated Decoration facility. For their first edition, the artwork was inspired by The Legend of Todmorden Moor, telling the story of Lady Sybil and her search for love, witchcraft and Hallows Eve.
