Cosmopack 2019: cosmetic packaging, one of the keys to the growth of the Marchesini Group

1 February 2019

Marchesini’s calendar of trade shows this year is bustling with activities, events and anniversaries. The Group is gearing up for Cosmopack, one of the most important international venues for the cosmetics industry, to be held in Bologna from 14-17 March.

For this event, the Marchesini Group is setting up an impressive booth (A9PK, Hall 19) where a filling and closing line for squeezable tubes will be exhibited, alongside two stand-alone DUMEK machines. The cosmetic packaging line is a Marchesini evergreen solution and comprises an automatic linear filling-closing model MILL 120 with Robovision and a cartoner model MA 155, which offers newly designed guards and panelling, innovative electric and pneumatic systems, as well as new components to comply with today’s high safety standards.

DUMEK brand will be represented by two TURBO-MEK turboemulsifiers, one of which is for laboratory use and the other for mass industrial production.

The vacuum turboemulsifiers are DUMEK’s core machines and are designed to produce liquid and creamy products, such as emulsions (cream/milk products), serums, oils and balms, gels and lotions. Special versions of these machines are able to process other products, such as make up (mascara, foundation), hair dyes, toothpastes and mud products.

A specialised team will welcome guests and illustrate the solutions and potential of the Group’s new beauty division, which will be located near the headquarters in Pianoro, where the machines of DUMEK will also be included. This business unit is already up and running and boosts the Group’s competitiveness in an expanding market and will become increasingly important within the company’s strategic plans.
