Go upmarket with PAWI

25 February 2010

PAWI has launched a box that takes a traditional product - baked tubes filled with chocolate – into a higher league.

"This box for Gottlieber ‘has uplifted the whole brand’, Andreas Keller, PAWI’s CEO told Packaging Today. The Swiss company also produces siliconised paper baking cups and trays for oven use and for presenting finished goods. It comes in industrial and retail variatons.

Copy protection for novel, new developments is vital for packaging manufacturers. For Belgian chocolate brand Godiva, PAWI devised a way to fix paper flaps unobtrusively into the base of the box, which adds to the protection and high-class feel of the product, while keeping the packaging fully recyclable, explained Mr Keller.
