Winpak
Kenneth Kuchma has been appointed chief financial officer of Canadian packaging materials and machinery manufacturer Winpak Ltd. He was previously director of finance and administration at Winpak’s largest manufacturing unit in Winnipeg.
TNA
Birmingham-based packaging and processing technology company TNA has added to its European service and support team. Maarten Van Poocke has joined to provide technical support for France and Naoufel Zaoui will be TNA Europe customer services co-ordinator managing relationships and client services throughout the continent.

The food processing weigh-labelling equipment supplier Herbert Industrial has recruited Jim McDonald as customer services manager. He previously worked in customer support for Paxman Diesels.

Jelle Kroes has been named general manager of Avery Graphics and Reflective Products Europe, based in Hazerswoude, The Netherlands. He will report to global vice president and general manager Helen Saunders. He was previously sales and marketing director and received a corporate Leadership Excellence Award.

Lloyds TSB
David Boran has been appointed managing director and head of Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets’ specialist packaging sector team handling national and international packaging-related finance. He was previously managing director of a number of specialist teams and handled some of the bank’s biggest mergers and acquisition deals.
MPMA
Nick Mullen has been appointed director of the Metal Packaging Manufacturers Association (MPMA) to succeed Tony Woods, who retired at the end of last year after seven years in the position. Mullen has held a number of senior managerial roles in the metal packaging industry within the UK and across Europe. He will be the main link between metal packaging manufacturers and government and other regulatory bodies.

UK packaging company Sirane has appointed Peter Longfield engineering project manager in its Engineering Services division. Longfield has designed machine and engineering systems throughout industry including special purpose work for Jaguar, Bentley, GKN, Nissan and others.
Tonejet
Cambridge-based industrial and commercial digital printing specialist Tonejet has appointed Ray Southam chief executive officer to lead the company’s launch of next-generation digital printing technology and products. Southam was chief financial officer of Cambridge Positioning Systems Limited, a private equity backed location technology company.
