Cermex

French packaging machinery group Sidel has appointed Jean-Félix Lesueur director of its Cermex Division and president of Cermex SAS. Having joined Sidel in 1998, Lesueur has since worked as general director of the company’s Lisieux site, home to shrinkwrapping machine production. With an engineering degree from Lille’s Arts & Métiers school and an MBA, he began his career with thermoforming machine manufacturer ERCA.

Multisorb

Manufacturer of sorbent, desiccant and oxygen absorbing technologies Multisorb has a new ceo. Mark E Celmer, under whose leadership Multisorb has significantly expanded its operations globally, takes on the position in addition to his role as the company’s president.

Croxsons

Barry Evans, formerly of Rockware and Massilly UK, has joined the sales team at London-based wine closure importer Croxsons. Bringing extensive caps and closures experience, Evans joins the firm after 25 years in the technical design department at Rockware Glass and, most recently, a decade at Massilly UK.

T Freemantle

T Freemantle has announced the appointment of a new area sales manager. Paul Jennings, who has 15 years’ packaging machinery sector experience and was previously at Bradman Lake, will continue to grow sales of Freemantle cartoners and sleevers in the UK and Scandinavia and assist with the European launch of a new range of lock erect top load cartoners and closers.

D2 Europack

Former business development manager at London design agency RHP and Harrison Europac sales manager Alan Taylor has joined D2 Europack, the UK’s sole supplier of Europack standard and bespoke aluminium foil, PP and ovenable trays and lids to the ready meal and foodservice sectors, as sales manager.

Capsnap Europe

Joining Capsnap, the joint venture between Portola Packaging and Austrian plastic processing plant Greiner Packaging as sales manager, Great Britain and Ireland is Peter Fealey, who formerly worked as a sales development executive for a large British company. His sales responsibility will be extended to include Scandinavia later this year.

Spectrum Inspection Systems

Spectrum Inspection systems, the holding company for leading inspection solutions specialists Loma Systems and Cintex, has appointed Simon Spencer group managing director. Spencer joined Spectrum in June as sales and marketing director, having previously worked in Ireland for Avery Berkel.
