Domino Printing Sciences - Inkjet and laser manufacturer Domino Printing Sciences has expanded its Group Development team with the appointments of Kirsten Telfer as group software director and Chris Beesley as programme director. Telfer has a maths degree from Sheffield University and joins from sonar systems supplier to the naval defence sector Thales Underwater Systems, while Beesley was previously project director at telecommunications component supplier Bookham.

Gainsborough Engineering - Adrian Shenton has been appointed sales and marketing manager at packaging machinery specialist Gainsborough Engineering. Beginning his career at GKN, Shenton subsequently spent 24 years ay Weighcount International and Baynflax before moving to G Webb Automation three years ago.

Structure-flex - Following the appointment of Matt Doughty as sales and marketing manager, UK-based bulk packaging solutions specialist Structure-flex has further strengthened its workforce. Amy Marriott has joined as sales and marketing assistant, while Kim Round and Stewart Longhorn have both taken up the role of commercial assistant.

Jiffy - Mike Curry, who has over 25 years' sales and marketing experience within blue chip automotive organisations with turnovers of over £50m, is the new sales and marketing director at protective packaging specialist Jiffy. Curry, who has a strong manufacturing background, says he is “looking forward to injecting some energy into Jiffy's sales strategy”.

Herma UK - Herma UK has announced the appointment of Simon Pagram as production manager at its labelling machine manufacturing facility at Haverhill, Suffolk. During a 10-year spell with broad spectrum industrial group Elco Europe, Pagram was involved in various production supervisory roles, becoming manufacturing manager. He joins Herma from trade fabricator Tradelink (Mildenhall) where he was responsible for the company's entire manufacturing site.

Packaging Automation - Over 20 years' packaging industry experience has helped Phil Markham, who joins the company after 16 years with Regal Packaging, secure the role of technical manager for the volumetric division of traysealing and filling equipment supplier Packaging Automation. The Knutsford, Cheshire firm has recently completed the first phase of a five-year business strategy with the launch of its Fastfill100 high-speed filling, pot sealing and overcapping machine.
