Vetroplas launches acrylic airless pumps range

Personal care and toiletries packaging specialist Vetroplas Packaging will offer acrylic airless pumps for the first time following a new agreement with a tier one global supplier partner, based in the Far East, to add premium acrylic packaging to its product range.

The Norwich, UK-based company will also offer acrylic pumps with dip tubes and jars using airless technology.

All certified to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, the new collection will be launched at the Packaging Innovations exhibition on 1-2 October at the Business Design Centre in London. According to Vetroplas, acrylic packaging is attractive due to its high end luxury image, and because it offers a premium alternative to glass containers.

The company’s new collaboration also means Vetroplas Packaging can help enhance brand identity through a wide range of decoration techniques such as silk screen printing, hot foil stamping, metallisation and lacquering.

“It’s important for us to keep up with the changing needs of the industry and develop the latest, innovative products,” says Simon Dix, Vetroplas sales director.

“We have a growing customer base in the UK and Ireland and we identified this opportunity to become more competitive and attract new markets."

Vetroplas Packaging is a service-orientated solutions provider and agent/supplier of a wide range of packaging, largely for the personal care, skincare, healthcare and beauty sectors in the UK and Ireland.

The company is the exclusive distributor for the Italian company, Eurovetrocap and is also the UK agent for CTL/Tuboplast, the Franco-Spanish producer of round and oval flexible tubes.

Vetroplas is also the UK agent for the Albea range of foam pump dispensers and accompanying range of bottles.
