Flexible packaging supplier Tyler Packaging has unveiled a new range of re-sealable Slider packs featuring the patented Slide-Rite closure system from US-based Presto Products Company.
Based in Warwickshire, Tyler Packaging is a specialist supplier of flexible packaging for human food, pet food and garden products.
The company initially introduced the Slider through its laminated flat base pouches, with the aim of providing superior on-shelf appearance, and the Slider has since been extended to its resealable laminated bags and pouches.
Adam Kay, Tyler Packaging sales and technical director, says: “Our focus is to help our client’s products work hard on the shelf and beyond, and our focus on consumer safety and product integrity is unmatched.
“The new Slider system is designed for high-performance packages that require strong top and end retention values, whilst allowing for easy gripping and ease of access to the product.”
According to Kay, the Slider comes in standard white and red colours to best suit the company’s own products, although Tyler is the first company in the world to have provided the Slider in black following a customer request.
While already offering numerous high-quality flexible packaging options including laminated pouches, laminated bags & sacks, laminated BOPP/PP woven sacks, plastic sacks, plastic film and paper sacks, Tyler Packaging is also in the process of investing in new machinery, targeting the latest innovations.
