THE COLLECTIVE LAUNCHES CHERRY SKU WITH ALCOHOLIC MORELLO CHERRY & KIRSCH LIMITED EDITION

GOURMET YOGHURT BRAND INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE NEW FLAVOUR INSPIRED BY THE ICONIC BLACK FOREST GATEAU

The Collective is adding a cherry SKU to its range of gourmet yoghurts for the very first time with the release of its New Year Limited Edition, an alcoholic Morello Cherry & Kirsch variety (RRP £2.39 for a 500g tub), to all major retailers.


With cherry one of the most popular flavours in the yoghurt category, this launch will be a significant new addition to The Collective's range. The brand has used its trademark innovation to create a completely unique product; inspired by the iconic Black Forest Gateau and bringing together this dish's most delicious elements - epic dairy, sour Morello cherries and a splash of Kirsch liqueur.


The unique alcoholic variety will be available until March 2016, rolling out nationwide to 1,200 stores. This new edition promises to provide a kick throughout the winter months, whether it's at breakfast, snack time or as a post-dinner treat.


The yoghurt is only 5% fat, making it the perfect pudding-alternative, and meeting demand for innovative products that will provide consumers with guilt-free indulgence in the New Year.


This new Limited Edition has been produced by pairing The Collective's award-winning yoghurt with a double layer of liqueur-laced conserve. The Morello cherries give this compote a lip-smacking tartness and vividly fresh fruitiness, which pairs perfectly with Kirsch, producing a deep, rich and distinctive sweet-sour flavour.


Together with The Collective's ridiculously thick live yoghurt it is a match made in heaven. Made using the finest West Country milk, the yoghurt has the silky smooth texture and the creamy taste that makes it the best tasting in Britain.

The Collective is known for creating innovative flavours, with this Limited Edition its second alcoholic variety following the extremely successful launch of its Raspberry & Amaretto yoghurt in 2013. This year it launched a Pink Grapefruit & Yuzu edition and partnered with well renowned chef, Anna Hansen to release a Rhubarb, Vanilla & Lemongrass flavour.


Like the whole of The Collective's range, this latest creation is free from artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. It is suitable for vegetarians and is packed with live cultures.

The yoghurt will be available nationwide from Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Ocado, Whole Foods, Booths, Asda and Nisa with a RRP of £2.39 for a 500g pot.
