Tetra Pak launches booklet on Extended Shelf Life for dairy products

Tetra Pak has launched a booklet on Extended Shelf Life (ESL) to introduce the various approaches and applicable techniques for dairy products.

 

ESL technology offers advantages and benefits in product safety and quality. This has become increasingly important as companies look to exploit economies of scale and expand distribution areas while consumers are demanding higher quality products.

 

This booklet illustrates the microbiological processes in ESL, offers an overview of the technical solutions portfolio, and introduces a methodology for the producer to choose the optimal solution. The booklet can be downloaded here.
