Spain-based cosmetics packaging provider Quadpack Group has celebrated its 10th anniversary.
In the time since the 2003 merger between Belcos Packaging, Lenglart Packaging and Gadbrook Packaging, Quadpack has grown to establish offices in ten different countries, including European and Asian sourcing operations, and has increased its turnover 14-fold, from €2.7 million in 2003 to €38 million in 2012.
The company has established exclusive partnerships with the leading manufacturers in airless packaging, foamers, acrylic jars, fragrance bottles and make-up, has opened a state-of-the-art testing laboratory, and established its own global logistics centre in Barcelona, Spain.
“Despite the global economic crisis, our turnover has increased year on year,” says Quadpack CEO Tim Eaves.
“This achievement is thanks to our customers who place their trust in us as their packaging partner, but also through taking a pro-active approach.”
According to Eaves, the important message for any business today is to actively look for opportunities. I think most businesses that are successful at the moment are doing that,” he says.
“That’s a big part of what we’re trying to do; continue to search for opportunities in this market and uncover new things we can do to help us fulfil our mission of helping beauty brands perform.”
Throughout 2013, Quadpack is planning a series of anniversary activities.
