Storopack UK has completed the acquisition of FP International UK’s Loose Fill Division.
According to the Sheffield-based company, part of the Germany-headquartered packaging group, the move is “another milestone” in its strategy to strengthen long-term competitiveness and provide a basis for growth and market position.
Based in Brackley, Northamptonshire, FP International’s production facility will become Storopack UK’s second production site in the UK for loose fill, increasing manufacturing capabilities and optimising delivery capabilities throughout the country.
FP International’s production team has been retained, alongside key administrative and financial personnel.
Richard Pulfrey, managing director of Storopack UK, said: “It’s a bold step. The acquisition will enhance our product and service offering and further improve our customer value proposition, giving us a competitive edge in a very dynamic market.”
