Stora Enso’s new Service Offer concept will ensure flexible and fast deliveries of the company’s Ensocoat and Ensocoat 2S premium packaging boards for demanding end uses.
The Helsinki-headquartered paper packaging company says the new service will be introduced in France from the beginning of June 2012, and rolled out to other markets in central Europe by the end of this year.
The new Service Offer highlights the different options available to Stora Enso customers, with a selection of different packages – the company says that if a confirmed delivery date is not reached, possible surcharges will be paid back in full.
“We have rethought our service concept and believe this will enhance our total offering to a perfect combination of service and value”, says Jonas Pettersson, sales director of Stora Enso Graphical Boards.
The new Stora Enso Service Offer consists of three alternatives launched for custom sheet sizes of Ensocoat and Ensocoat 2S:
- The ‘Economizer’ targets a 20 working day delivery time for full truck loads, offered without a surcharge
- The ‘Rapid Link’ targets maximum 5 working days + transport time from Stora Enso’s central European Sheeting Service Centers located in Luebeck and Baienfurt. This option carries a €50/t surcharge
- The ‘Express Delivery Promise’ option enables a maximum 5 day delivery from order, and carries a €200/t surcharge
Stora Enso has also recently introduced laser codability to board brands for folding-box uses in its range. Surface coatings have been enhanced so that laser coding is possible – a critical feature where there is a need to provide packages with information such as use-by dates or product traceability.
