Smurfit Kappa updates InnoBook design aid

29 April 2013

Paper-based packaging producer Smurfit Kappa has relaunched its InnoBook, the company’s portfolio of creative packaging ideas sourced from its 700 designers around the world.

The original Smurfit Kappa InnoBook software tool was launched over 15 years ago, and the new version, launched in April 2013, is said to be “the most interactive yet”.

Customers can now view designs in 3D, and make use of features such as assembly instruction videos.

Smurfit Kappa chief operations officer Tony Smurfit says: “The new version of InnoBook…allows our customers to continue to have access to a range of designs, which continues to increase every day, in a more interactive way than before.”

Consulted more than 400 times a day by more than 250 Smurfit Kappa experts worldwide, InnoBook is used as an aid to the creative process both for Smurfit Kappa’s designers and customers.
