Sleever ‘first’ targets dairy industry

26 November 2012

The new Sleeverdairycombistream machine launched by Sleever International at the Emballage show in November is capable of applying sleeves at a rate of 500-1000bpm onto HDPE containers using a 20-micron sleeve.

The France-based shrink sleeve specialist describes the new machine as a “world first”, and “a true technological breakthrough”.

Specially designed by Sleever Machines for the dairy industry, the company says the Sleeverdairycombistream will: “Reduce environmental impact and material weight by 50%.”

With 40 years of expertise in the design and manufacture of equipment for the shrink sleeve market, Sleever International is known for its two existing ranges: SleeverCombi, a compact monoblock machine for the application and shrink of sleeves onto vertically orientated products; and SleeverLogicpak, for the application and shrink of sleeves onto horizontally orientated products.
