Sirane has been investing in its proprietary bag-making production lines to help support the launch of new products in the Sira-Cook line of ‘ovenable’ materials and formats.
A sum of over £300,000 has been spent to ensure the company maintains its role as an innovator, says Ian Beardsall, Sirane co-founder and director of product & process development. He says the strategy is based on ‘a long-term view that functionality is a high profile driver for packaging’.
Says Beardsall: “Ovenable packaging, namely high temperature packaging which generally incorporates polyamides or polyesters, typically needs a detailed knowledge- base and also a bespoke design that will suit the needs of food producers.”
Sirane is certified to the ISO 9001 standard for product quality and design.
