The new DKE01 adjustment knob with LCD display from Germany-based measuring systems producer Siko features “state-of-the art functionality” in its electronic display, the company says.
Described as “inexpensive and easy to use”, the DKE01 is designed for use in Siko handwheels with integrated position displays, in applications including roll positioning, aligning limit stops and tools, and manual metering settings.
The DKE01 display values are user-definable, so it is possible to handle the most diverse challenges using a single basic device, which is said to eliminate the need for managing multiple types of devices.
With its contemporary looks, extra features of the DKE01, such as allowance for offset values and a reset button for calibration, expand the range of uses.
Thanks to a particularly energy-efficient measuring technique, the electronic DKE01 adjustment knob has a battery life of eight years. The power is supplied using a conventional coin battery, which can be easily replaced by the device user at the end of its service life.
