Sealed Air launches ‘eco’ void fill

17 August 2011

A new paper void fill system by Sealed Air is said to make more efficient use of packaging material, to cut cost and environmental impact.

Suitable for small-cell packing stations, the FasFil EZ system has a crimping mechanism designed to produce more cubic metres of void fill material per square metre of paper used, with a ‘quick, continuous’ output of paper, says the company.

The system can be used on a traditional floor or table mount and in on-line set-ups over a conveyor belt.

It dispenses single ply paper and is compatible with Sealed Air’s range of 100% recycled paper. An output length control feature delivers customised paper lengths, eliminating excessive usage of void fill material.
