Rieke Dispensing is extending its range of Mini Airless dispensers to meet market requirements for luxury packaging in conveniently sized, non-leak travel formats, with two new sizes, 15ml and 30ml, each available delivering a 0.3ml dose.
The dispensers incorporate a specially developed new pump system said to deliver “consistently easy and reliable operation”.
US-headquarterd Rieke's Clear Path Technology ensures that the spring mechanism does not come into contact with the product formula, ensuring effective protection for sensitive products.
And a new static airtight valve prevents any intake of air during the operation of the pump and is “completely leak resistant” when the pump is not in use.
The company’s Mini Airless packs feature Rieke Dispensing’s HVDS (high viscosity dispensing system), which means they are able to handle products with a high viscosity that are traditionally difficult to dispense effectively, yet are still said to achieve “99% product evacuation”.
“The piston system fits perfectly inside the diameter of the container to ensure no product clings to the side during dispensing,” the company says.
Once the container is empty, the piston interlocks with the base of the pump to make sure all product has been dispensed.
The pre-assembled one-piece system features an overcap and nozzle plug, and a wide range of decoration options is available to personalise the dispensers and create effective brand identity and on-shelf impact.
The new Mini Airless 15ml and 30ml variants are manufactured in the UK, enabling Rieke to offer a fast-response service, “to meet the changing demands of the competitive cosmetic and personal care markets”.
