Reverdia builds up Biosuccinium portfolio

2 October 2014

In addition to a production capacity of about 10,000 tonnes/year out of its Cassano, Italy, plant, Reverdia is now licensing Biosuccinium, a building block for the production of polymers and chemicals. This will benefit companies who want to integrate bio-succinic acid production into their business offering, enabling competitive bio-based materials.

Marcel Lubben, president of Reverdia, says: "By licensing the Biosuccinium technology as well as selling product direct, we are ensuring that more customers can benefit from Reverdia's experience in technology and application development. The licensing offering is essential to unlock the bio-based market and is the next logical step in our evolution."
