Repeat order for Sidel preferential heating blower: A vote of confidence from Finland's leading bottle
Additional blow moulder will enable Finland's leading bottle manufacturer to double its PET blowing capacities, ensure optimum material distribution, highest PET bottle quality and production cost savings
To meet the increasing demand of its customers, Muovi-Heljanko, has recently acquired a new preferential heating blow moulder from Sidel, the leading global provider of PET solutions for liquid packaging.
Muovi-Heljanko is a fast growing, innovative PET bottle manufacturer. Part of the company's success has been its fast response and delivery times to a broad range of domestic and international foodstuff and alcoholic beverage customers, some of whom require stock fulfilled at very short notice.
By holding 10,000 full pallets of empty, often complex and customised bottles in its warehouses, Muovi-Heljanko is easily able to meet those requests. Through continued and strategic investments in technology, the company has been able to create a modern, efficient and flexible production line, which delivers up to an additional 16,000 bottles per hour.
As part of its next growth phase, which includes expansion of its warehouse and a broader product offering of PET bottles, the company has selected an additional Sidel SBO 8 Universal PH blow moulder to double its production capacity to 32,000 bottles per hour for producing difficult mono and multilayer round or oval shape bottles up to 2500ml size.
