RAJA Group buys the distance selling company Morplan

The RAJA Group - European market leader in the distribution of packaging supplies and equipment for businesses - has acquired Morplan, a major player in distance selling of retail supplies and equipment for stores in various sectors, including clothing.

The acquisition of Morplan bought from French organisation Retif will allow the RAJA Group, which already has a presence in the UK market with its subsidiary Rajapack, to double its volume of business and improve its knowledge and skills base across new products and a new customer base. The sharing of knowledge and expertise across both sales and marketing between Rajapack and Morplan will help to facilitate rapid sales growth in both companies. This transaction has been financed by the RAJA Group's own capital.

"The arrival of Morplan to the RAJA Group strengthens our strategy of diversification in response to the needs and expectations of our customer. Morplan is a great fit in terms of our existing knowledge and expertise in the market place. I am delighted to announce this 9th acquisition; it reinforces our position in the European business to business market and also complements our organic growth," explains Danièle Kapel-Marcovici, RAJA Group President.
