Radnor Hills opts for Makro roll-feed labeller

26 November 2014

Independent water and soft drinks bottler Radnor Hills has ordered a Makro Labelling RFL 12 roll-feed labeller. To be installed into an existing line, it will feature Makro's 'plug & play' hotmelt applicator for reel-fed plastics labels, together with a second interchangeable labelling station for the option to apply cut and stack paper labels.

Radnor's filling line currently fills 330-500ml PET bottles of the company's own range of flavoured waters, together with a number of contract customers.

Managing director William Watkins remarks: "I particularly like the modular platform of the Makro labeller, and being able to wheel in either labelling option as trends can change very quickly in our industry. If a customer asks for a different label dress, I want to be in a position to be able to say yes."
