The new Eco Foamer from cosmetics packaging provider Quadpack pairs a recycled PET (rPET) bottle sourced locally in Europe, with the company’s high-performance Apollo foam pumps.
According to Spain-based Quadpack – sole distributor in Europe for the dispensers range from South Korean manufacturer Apollo – the new Eco Foamer is especially suitable for luxury organic brands.
Available in standard 150ml and 50ml travel-sized packs, the rPET bottle can be made with either 100% or 50% recycled content, depending on requirements, and Quadpack has selected only European sources to reduce the product’s carbon footprint.
The pump uses Apollo’s patented foam technology: three different meshes produce different densities to suit different applications, which may include cleansing, skin care, baby care and any others where foam adds value to the performance and perception of the product.
Thanks to the lack of metal parts in the product path, the pump helps to preserve formula integrity – “a particularly important consideration for organic brands”, according to Quadpack.
A choice of interchangeable applicators can further enhance performance of the product – in addition to the standard actuator, a silicon brush or a comb applicator can be used on the same pump.
