Cosmetic packaging provider Quadpack has begun a “strategic push” into the haircare sector with the launch of seven premium packs for the styling range of leading haircare brand ghd.
The new ghd Style range – sourced, developed and tested by Quadpack in a year-long project – features a number of essential styling products tailored with the brand’s new Heat Protection System.
Ranging from lotion dispensers to fine mist pumps, the range includes Straight & Smooth Spray, Straight & Tame Cream, Curl Hold Spray, Root Lift Spray, Smooth & Finish Serum and Heat Protect Spray, each with a custom-designed spray angle to optimise the product’s efficacy.
Colour-matched in ghd’s signature black livery, the products are differentiated by colour-coded shoulders, allowing easy identification in professional hair salons where caps often become separated from the packs.
Quadpack CEO Tim Eaves said: “We already have a stronghold on the skincare packaging market and earlier this year started our penetration into colour cosmetics. Now we are preparing to apply our expertise to a segment that currently does not have much access to sophisticated packaging and delivery systems.”
