With its Ecosolution airless dispensing system, Promens Personal & Healthcare Packaging was selected to provide the packaging for the national and international relaunch of the Australian luxury organic skincare brand, organicspa.
The France-based plastic packaging specialist utilized its patented AirFree ‘bag-in’bottle’ technology within the four-part Ecosolution bottles, which is said to reduce packaging volume by 30%, compared to a typical piston-based airless dispenser made of 12 parts.
The organicspa skincare range combines medicinal levels of certified organic plant extracts with 100% naturally derived ingredients and an average of 89% certified organic content. It is environmentaly sustainable and uses 100% biodegradable or recyclable packaging.
The new retail range comes in three sizes of Promens Ecosolution: 50ml for the Repar & Rejuvenate range; 100ml for pumps in the Daily Hydration & Refining Rituals categories, comprising seven different formulas; and a 200ml size for the Body Moisturizer & Cream Cleanser.
Promens says Ecosolution is the ideal packaging for organicspa skincare ranges, as it is an ecological system. It is 100% plastic (100% polyolefin), and does not contain any metal or glass parts, or any non-recyclable plastic.
The French organisation COTREP (Plastic Packaging Recycling Technical Committee) assessed the recyclability of AirFree bottles in the HD-PE recycled bottles stream. The Ecosolution system is not required to be disassembled since all parts of both the bottle and the dispensing system are recyclable.
