An opportunity has arisen to join a flagship, state of the art, printing and laminating, flexible packaging manufacturing site, in the Lódz region, which employs c100 people. Part of a major international packaging group, the site is entering an exciting stage of development which will result in increased product complexity, higher added value and further growth.

Utilising sophisticated flexo and gravure printing and lamination technology, the site supplies a range of flexible packaging products to a prestigious, blue - chip, customer base. Reporting to the Plant Manager, your primary objective in this influential role will be to improve and develop the lamination process to minimize downtime and increase efficiencies, investigating root cause and implementing corrective action. This will involve you in project management and technical support activities around material selection, material process improvement and new product development.

Applicants will ideally hold a Material, Polymer Science or relevant Science Degree and have a development, production, technical, continuous improvement or project management background, gained in a print/packaging conversion environment, or with a film manufacturer, or an allied coatings/adhesives business. The ability to speak some English would be advantageous.
